Physical body structure

Cobalt Philosopher:

Mastema's true body is that of a corpse with bones as blue as the sky that have been strangely impaled through a chair-like device

The bones themselves may seem brittle at first glance but are quite possibly hardest substance in the entire world...

Crimson Judge:
Mastema's second body is an imposing demon like entity that acts more like a ghost tethered to the cobalt skeleton

Mastema's entire body is composed in a similar fashion to Belial however the gem like pores on his throat act as multiple wind pipes allowing him to physically speak.

Mastema's collar has four cross like appendages that attracts wandering souls while his cloak has four separate pieces that wrap around the lost soul giving it warmth, comfort, and ease...

Mastema's chest has a mouth that opens and reveals an empty cavity which acts as a vessel of sorts. when someone enters it the mouth closes and Mastema's body is swallowed whole by the cobalt skeleton only to lead the person into a secret room within the corpse where Mastema holds his legendary trials...

Weapons and Abilities

World of Knowledge:
Because of the Philosophers Soul it is said that Mastema had earned knowledge that dates back since the birth of time and achieved the path to immortality

The Trials:
Those who seek Mastema search for knowledge of the future or past those more daring seek the mythical Philosophers Soul in his possession however they must first pass his legendary trials those that fail are then broken down and added to the Philosophers Soul.

The Eye of Makai:
This gem varies from demon to demon and can be found on a specific part of the body usually the chest, the hands, or the forehead.The gem itself contains pressurized blood which can be shot like a devastating beam.

Alchemist:
Having mastered the art of Alchemy Mastema is capable of many strange supernatural abilities

Demon:
Having the power of a demon allows Mastema to regenerate limbs and heal wounds at a steady rate by eating other demons,animals, and humans the rate of recovery quickly accelerates.

Weaknesses:

Mastema has made a pact to never use his knowledge and power for his own personal gain which is one reason why he does not lead Altar...

Mastema's body is confined to the cobalt skeleton while the skeleton is confined and never able to leave the castle

Mastema is an oddity among the demons as he secretly tends the inner castle gardens...

heh thanks to some great advice I've spiced up the plain Mastema! and gave him a more fitting appearance rather than making him a tall lanky demon with one eye @ v @
